Dr. Famida leaves for London to convince Mirza
President tasks speaker to pursuade Mirza 'leave MQM alone'
Speaker of the National Assembly Dr. Fahmida Mirza has left for Britain for two months. Her sudden departure is seen as an effort to clip Zulifkar Mirza as regards his moves against the MQM on British soil.
The PPP insiders claim the objective of her departure is to convince her spouse Dr. Zulifkar Mirza to stop moving against the MQM in British power corridors.
Dr. Fahmida Mirza, it is believed to be meeting President Zardari twice before she left for Britain.
The information from London says Dr. Zulifkar Mirza has sent a memorandum to the office of British Prime Minister David Cameron and he believes the Prime Minister would give time for meeting.
Dr. Mirza was quoted as saying the media should not make it a breaking news that Dr. Fahmida Mirza was coming to London. He said he would not stop his mission on arrival of Dr. Fahmida.
It merits mentioning that the MQM leaders had contacted the President to get Mirza stopped from defaming the MQM.
Also the MQM leaders have been writing to the British government that Zulifkar Mirza be restricted as he was conspiring ti ignite linguistic fire back in Karachi.
